I believe they announced an agreement last march during NCAA, so they could air the games on 246-1.

They said at that time they would launch full time HD later that year (if memory serves right). So agreement is in place just hasnt happened yet, I would expect it up full time HD by March Madness.

My feeling is that a full-time truTV HD will be up by time the NBA playoffs start. We'll be in 2012 already, but one shouldn't be shocked by this given that DirecTV hasn't been motivated to add the HDs of non-premiums that are available from its competition.

Perhaps everything we should have already received -- truTV HD, Turner Classic Movies HD, Headline News HD, BBC America HD, et al. -- will come just after the next satellite lanuch. After that point, it will have become too difficult for DirecTV to continue making excuses for itself.
