Upgrading round dish to ka/ku -TROUBLE

3years ago at my camper I LUCKED out and got an almost 90% signal on 101 with my round dish. Today I pulled it down and tried to install the ka/ku dish in exact same orientation but cannot get an autoconfig to take at all now ...... ;-(

I forgot how to do settings - I was just trying to 'eyeball' it to look like the round dish set up - I AM AN IDIOT!!

PhaseIII is NOT a Ka/Ku setup. Are you sure this is what you are working with.? How about some photos?

That's the biggest key here. The older dish points at 110, the new one at 101.

Are you trying to install a Slimline on the mast from a Phase III? The mast is too small to tighten the dish correctly.

This is a Phase III dish, not a ka/ku type.

If you are trying to get hd channels from the Phase III dish, you can't do it. You need the Slimline dish.

It don't matter. You're trying to hit a needle in a space! 1/16 of an inch can cause problems
