Vbox 7 er2 message on tw Vboxs and two actuators

I am getting the no signal from sensor, ER2 message on two different Vbox 7s, when trying to go east or west. I have reset both boxes three times each and swapped out my actuator for a new out of the box actuator and I still get the same ER2 error messages when trying to move east or west, with both actuators installed.
Has this ever happened to anyone else? Any ideas what the problem could be?

Has to be wiring then. Take the lose actuator and a VBox and hook them up with a short wire on the kitchen table and test them out.

Yeah with it happening on two boxes, it must be wiring. Err2 means it is not getting a count feedback.

My vbox7 just started doing something similar. Mine will move to the east but not west. If i reverse motor wires on back of vbox it will move east but not west. Not sure if its actuator or vbox.

Sounds like the box in your case. My guess a relay or driver transistor has failed for one of the relays.

Ok thanks ke4est. Hopefully i can return it for another one. It seems to work when it warms up during day. But rain or cold weather it gives error. Tax money comes in. Im getting the dish postioner you and titanium sell.

Having the same problem here! Is this a common problem with these boxes??
