vip211 firmware won't update L553RG2B

I have 3 vip211 receivers...

2 of them have firmware version L553RG2B

1 of them has this version L553RGGD-N

Same model receiver, but different firmware version, I do not know which one is newer. The thing is that I think version L553RG2B, has some sort of issue with timers, on the 2 receivers with this version, timers do not work, I get the screen saver screen all the time.

Is there a way to force these receivers to upgrade to the other version of firmware ?

Dish sends the firmware in batches (by serial number) Once upon a time this site used to track software upgrades but they don't seem to anymore

they kinda knew when which serial numbers would receive the software update but alas it seems to have stopped

L553 is the latest firmware, those letters/numbers are just a form of Hardware ID (different hardware revisions.)
