[VOOM] All's quiet

Been away on vacation for a while, glad to see all is well in
VOOMLAND. The only issue I'm having more than before is no audio on
channels once they tune. I have to up and back down one almost
everytime on most every channel... Is this happening to most of just
me ?

All's Quiet??

Hi:
All is quiet because Wilt and others from VOOM seem to have stopped responding to questions. Apparently, VOOM tried to send out new software again without first testing it (AGAIN!!). As a result they screwed up people who use DVI. They stopped sending out the upgrade (which is necessary for PPV and the DVR) and will not give a time when it will be fixed. It is mid-October and people who live between two different DMA's still have to choose which ONE DMA they want program guide information for as VOOM prohibits you from receiving program guide information for both even though the information is in the PSIP data stream in the broadcast. Also, people who live in FL still get two more channels than the rest of us even though VOOM's VA-VA-VOOM package was supposed to include all available channels (except Playboy and PPV).

I live in California. The Fox Sports channel that is in HD has been turned on occasionally for me. I think it is only on when there is a game being shown.
