Have a pansat 2500A and 30" winegard dish with direct tv type lnb arm.

Need: KU lnbf to pick up network feeds and other FTA. Apparently the original DTV lnb is circular and I need a linear lnb[?]

I'm obviously new to this but remember the fun it was with my Colorado BUD and C band equipment watching the network feeds in the mountains.

correct. You would need a KU Band LNB to get FTA stuff
