I'm kind of confused on what dvb-s2 is? Can FTA even pick it up? I thought it was more of the dtv/dss type channels...
Thanks

I don't know if a DVB receiver will lock onto a DVB-S2 transponder or not.
Equity has a mux on G26 C-Band that is DVB-S2...they have 28 channels on a transponder![]()
check the post at the top "RTN channels the real deal"...it has that info in it

is it a better picture?
is it a better picture?
The real world is analog. When you introduce digital, you get a lot of advantages, but QUALITY of the pure analog signal is lost.
Well I am going to have to disagree with y'all...my wife and I both think the picture on the Equity DVB-S2 channels is MUCH better than on G-18 ku. We switched just tonight between them and my wife even said the C-band DVB-S2 looked better.
