Dishin' It Up is the program that allows current subscribers to upgrade their equipment for a "small" fee. This depends on many factors, such as how long you have had Dish Network, what receivers you are looking at getting, when you last upgraded.

As to how to get it (or if you qualify), one requirement is that you can only upgrade once every 12 months (it is a rolling calendar, so if you upgrade in Feb, you are not eligible to upgrade again until the next Feb.). Pricing will vary, so the best bet is going to be to call Dish Network and ask them for specifics about Dishin' It UP.

We just upgraded to an HD-dvr and HD programming. We get the dvr for free after the DIU rebate and get the first 6 months hd programming free with free install with the contract sign-up.

I am a new customer with Dish. Signed on in September. Do you think they will let me upgrade a 625 to a 722? Thanks

I don't think so, but you could either call Dish and see what they say.

I just called them and they are saying I can do it. A VIP722 is $199 and a 622 is $149.

I was hoping it was just $100. I will probably hold off. My wife is ready to knock me on my head now for getting all the receivers we have now. I am a little disappointed in the 625. I did not realize it did not have an Ethernet connection and no way to blend the local channels into the guide from the OTA antenna when I got it. I wired up for both and now have no where to connect up to the 625.
