The Science Channel is included in the Smart Pack with is regularly $32.99 a month.

Science channel is in free preview for August so you can select a package like Dish America then upgrade to Dish Silver in September and save a few buck in the process. Oh I don't know what the Silver price is but I remember seeing a thread several months ago discussing it. You may want to do a search or just call Dish.
