Well, At Least Lloyd Carr Gets It Over With Right Away!!!

Any suggestions on new head coaches for Michigan? Print them here, and I'll forward them to the Michigan Athletic Dept. c/o the athletic director.

John Cooper, perhaps? :p

Actually, I highly doubt that they will fire the guy, even your best coaches have a bad year every so often ...

Michigan will let LLLLLOYD decide at the end of the year ....
If he wants to come back they will let him, if he wants to retire that will be ok too. Look what the guy's done in the last 15-20 years working at M.

The stunning part about all of this is that THIS was suppose to be their year with Henne and Hart and some others all being seniors also having Manninghan they should be kicken ass and takin names ... But they're not.

Fwiw, I think that MSU will be coming back to the front in a year or so, getting Dantonio was a great move for them.

I agree, long season to go, they are officially out of the National Championship hunt, but they can still save the season, although 9-2 would suk at least for ME!

IF they beat Ohio State, all will be forgotten.

btw, this is the last thing Ohio State fans want to see .... Michigan going into the Ohio State game with NOTHING to lose, M always screws up our season in those type of situations ... speaking of John Cooper, 2 or 3 times in his tenure.

I love Michigan fans. They are the only ones I ever run into where they expect to go undefeated every year and win both the conference and BCS championship.

As soon as they lose one its "well, the season's over", and: "they need to fire Carr".

And it does not matter who they lose to, it is never a loss because they got outplayed. Like today. No Michigan fan will admit that they were flat out outplayed by a better team on both sides of the ball.

Oregon proved the Pac 10 is the toughest conference in football!

They were out played last week also.

Awfully quiet for 100.000 + fans !

The Big house is known to not be an intimidating place to play. Their fans have never made enough noise. Almost every game broadcasted the announcers say this.

Hopefully Henne is OK for Michigan's sake. The Freshmen quarterback looked very green today.

I know ... I think they were all in a state of shock.

SWEET! Go Ducks!

lol:D Ok Ok Ok how's this..........Michigan really sucked Saturday, do you think they will lose their next game against Oregon. Hell when ND and Michigan play each other they both could be 0-2. they could go 0-4 before they play Northwestern. And the first four games are at home, their first win could be on the road.

How's that?:D

I guess it still holds true a week later.:D

Like I said before Joe, you've been around a second tier program (MSU) too long. Yes, we DO expect to win every game. Thats what you do in a top tier program. If you think that we think "the season is over", check the attendance for the rest of the season. I doubt that it will drop below a sellout. Who said we weren't outplayed? You would have to be an idiot not to admit that. As for Carr, he has been outcoached badly in both losses this season. I saw this same offense last week when App. St. used it, yet Carr still had no answer for it this week. I expected a better game plan for the defense. As for firing Carr, well he is now 18 -11 in the last 29 games. Should we wait until or program has sank to MSU's standards. What reason does MSU use for firing coaches? It sure isn't "He won too many games". If you love Carr so much, you can hire him as soon as he retires. He's a great guy and has, until recently done a great job. It's time for a change in coaches and your rhetoric.

Salsa, don't know if you saw the game. If you did you would have seen what Michigan fans are pissed about. 9 - 2? Not likely. This team was completely demolished by halftime for the second week in a row.

Like I said earlier, this team has not won since Bo Schembeckler died before the Ohio State game last year. Michigans return to national prominence began with Bo. Strange coincidence.

The really scary part of this loss was how the offense was shut down. You can be sure the rest of our opponents will be studying what Oregon did. Sorry Salsa, but right now this team is being outplayed and outcoached, and with Henne out, the future is not very bright. If they finish 10 - 2, I will take back everything negative I have said about Carr. Trust me, that's a meal I won't have to digest.

Despite Michigan's loss, they are listed as a 7 1/2 pt. favorite over Oregon. Didn't the oddsmakers watch the game? Or do they know something I don't know? In their defense, they probabily don't have the Big Ten network in Las Vegas. Still find it odd.

Guess they didn't see the APP St. game, and it turns out, I knew something they didn't know. This is not a very good Michigan team.

I'm picking Penn State for the Big Ten champ. How about you Paul?

If Penn State can beat Michigan:p, They should be able to win the Big Ten. Hell they should be able to go undefeated.
