Great ..... Wings were shorthanded in SJ for a whole period with 6 minutes of 5-3 killing, now the Sharks get another .....

When the Sharks went ahead big the other night in SJ, the Wings didn't get the calls in the third, but with the Sharks down big, they are getting 5-3's ....

This Bruin playoff run is what I like to call a 'one year later' playoff run. (The year after a powerful team has a playoff run ended earlier than expected, they come back the next year and go deeper)

If anything, this B's team is making a spring run that many expected lfrom last year's juggernaut.

(It's easy for some to forget how absolutely frighteningly awesome the Bruins were a year ago)

Detroit is a scarier team than Philly.

The Red Wings are experienced winners- the Flyers are notorious playoff teases.

Besides, if I had a dollar for every time I've seen a team avoid a sweep and lose the fifth game, I'd be as rich as Ryan Howard.

Here's what I am talking about this whole time with the refs. What determines what they are calling, and what aren't calling????

I see ticky tack crap get called, not called, so on and so on.

Then you see retaliations called, not called,so on and so on.

Then you see, interference called, not called, .....you get the picture here.

This is called, and then not called, and back and forth. It just seems like they call it, if they feel like it, or if someone is owed it, or w/e.

So what's the game, what are they calling, and not calling?

Originally it was credited to Franzen, but it actually went in off Burtuzzi's leg, so Franzen got the assist.

I think it's because of the size of the lead.

1-2 goal leads are possible to overcome.

Detroit jumped out to the type of lead that is impossible to overcome (5-6 goals).

I'm not saying the Sharks should play goon hockey, but what are they supposed to do- lay down like a welcome mat?

Not only is it documented that all but two teams lose a series when down 3-0, but also considering something that I referenced back in March- the Red Wings' Shannen Doherty curse.

Again, I'm going to say this, I like Bertuzzi, and I'm glad he's on the Wings. Just that guy you want on your team, and not against it.
