I have no way of knowing but I would think it would. I guess we won't find out until we get our hands on it.

I don't know why it wouldn't since they are already committed to transferring and caching the two tuner streams on the hopper, potentially 24x7.

I've never seen the code, but any form of viewing, even live, is probably accessing the caches and not a tuner stream directly. There wouldn't be any additional bandwidth requirement, and I doubt sling would know the difference.

Of that I have no doubt. I think the sling adapter's days are numbered as a product for purchase.

For the SJ. But David was talking about the VJ. Surely they won't charge more than $7 for it. $5 would be nicer, but probably $7. Can't see the $10 fee; I'd think it real hard to talk a customer into that.

Thanks Navy. The first part of my post I was speculating on the cost to Purchase a SJ, which should be lower than HWS. My bad for being unclear. As I was saying we will most likely need to keep the 2nd HWS so my only interest could be the VJ if the savings were worth it. Doesn't sound like it will be, at least that is what everyone seems to think. $5 would be a jump ball, $7, not worth giving up the hardware I have. Just my opinion. $3 and I'm all over it. (Pipe dream!!!)
