I would like to start a thread about horror stories living in apartments fighting satellite dishes this includes hoa and trailer parks. I think I top every one about living in apartment complex from hell please tell me about your story.

No horror stories YET, just some annoyances so far (we'll see after I move to the next place). First, I received a lovely letter saying that I have to remove my OTA antenna or I'd be evicted. They said it was because it was hanging from the balcony above me, even though the hooks were already there from a previous resident. No big deal, I just built an ugly antenna stand and made sure it wasn't hanging out into the common space. Once I acquired my 1m dish with NPRM, I asked about putting it on the roof. I wrote a letter to the owners (out of state), mentioning that it had been on the roof where I work for 15 years without issue, even with a small tornado coming through town it didn't budge. They completely ignored me. At least getting a definitive yes or no would have been nice. Doesn't matter much now, since I'll be moving in less than a month (holy crap!) and it looks like I'll have great LOS at the new place.

This Mayberry like town has a bi-law that limits 1 dish/antenna per property (30" maximum). IIRC, it must be attached to the main structure.

Bi-law wouldn't hold water since any challenger would have a Charter defense (Sec 2.b).

When we get our own home I will go nuts I will put up 7 satellite dishes 2 in the back yard 5 in the front yard. Two 10 footers one in front one in back. Make up for lost time do to crooked management. Things will be better than living here.

I am single I get everything done before the woman comes a long says to take it down. Then tell her to hit the road if she starts in about the dishes. I say honey you can look out the front and see me out there compared to being at a strip club or cheating on you. Satellite dishes or cheating take your pick. I helped take care of my mom she is like if your working on that then your out of trouble.
