What an absolute pain in the a$$. Hopper 3 software is a train wreck. The product should not have been released at this point.
Actually there seems to be a lot of bugs on the Hopper 3 and other issues. This new hopper with so many issues is not going to work with my aging parents. I think I may need to go back to the original hopper if they aren't playing around with it the same way they are this one.Don't you think that that is an over reaction to something that appears to have happened to everyone and is now fixed. I don't really think you want to go back to a less capable DVR.

Mine still is not working right. One of our TVs will only work on 3 channels and the rest are black and won't play anything on the DVR. One television is fine. Not sure about the third. I can't assess the situation until I get home from work. It is a mess ... I have Dish service coming on Friday due to issues with this Hopper but if the TV doesn't get working I may need to move it up.Folks, there was a 30 minute outage that occurred while the majority of subscribers were at work. Yeah, it's the pits that it happened but the world did not end. Most people won't even know it ever happened.
Latest update is that my Mom can change the channels and has a picture but it has the sports bar on it and without the sports bar you just get a black screen and can't change the channels.
