Attn Dish Support: BAD CS EXPERIENCE/Need OTAWhere's Claude?
Anybody heard from Claude ?
Thanks, hadn't seen that.
At this point, I need to agree. Regarding RSNs, they seem to be the last thing that Dish cares to carry. That's more exasperated when you add price increases. In New England, we lost NBC Sports Boston back when it was CSN New England. And I question when NESN might go. I already have my contingency plans, neither of which are to leave Dish. Quite honestly, I pay for my provider to suit my needs. So if the network wants to have a peeing contest, I'll find my ways. I'm resourceful enough.Same situation for me. As far as I can tell you get NFL Redzone and MLB Strikezone. I think I already have the rest of the channels in the multi-sport pack.
Believe what? BOTH sides claim they would leave the channels up during negotiations and the other turned them down.
So either one is flat out lying or they're both spinning. Pretty sure it's the latter.
That's called "spin"... which is what I said they were doing. They're not lying they are just not telling the complete story. What NEITHER of them is telling is under what terms they needed to have in place to keep them up. I know Dish as said some of what they offered but I tend to think there were more hooks to it.
On Chrome or Firefox, I use the "Location Guard" add-on to make my geo-location results anywhere in the world I want them to be.
Yes, Location Guard doesn't work for all location based applications, but when it does work...I finally got around to trying the "location guard" add-in for Chrome today and Locast does work fine with it. Unfortunately it doesn't work on Youtube TV as they use your IP to geo-locate you.
Verizon IP is from Kansas City, KS
I've gotten a Dallas IP from time to time from Verizon, but I don't recall seeing Chicago or St Louis. But then I don't always check either when our IP's change as we move around. It's funny, even though I live in Kansas City, I never got a Kansas City IP when I used a Verizon hotspot!
Always Chicago, or Dallas, or St. Louis.
This thread has nothing to do with the RSNs. Fox doesn't own them.
