I only had Watch and Delete before I started watching and now have Resume, Start Over, and Delete.
An event already recorded, but without its own timer, so it's in PTAT.
So, I am new to the Hopper world. I was just looking through the PTAT shows to see what I might want to save. I've saved a lot of series. But I can't figure out how to save a one-off show--not a series (like the Grammys, for example). Can someone tell me how to do that?
My wife loves it and has gotten used to it quickly. My daughter doesn't much care, I don't think. We came from DirecTV and a Genie, and this is so much better.

Whenever I select a recording to watch, the display shows either 0 minutes remaining or 2 minutes remaining. I always have to select to “start over” to watch from the beginning.

I just switched from DirecTV. I am sure I'm not that discerning about the picture quality difference. I can't tell any difference, except that I've had far fewer issues with pixelation than I was having with DirecTV (which has more to do with my particular installation, I'm sure).

Yeah, I can't see a pattern to it, but it's messed up a bunch of series. I'm glad, at least, I'm not the only person experiencing it. Not a big deal I guess, but it's a bit annoying.
Exactly. I used that code, and it wouldn't turn on and off the television reliably--the timing or something didn't work. I'm glad I tried the RC71. And yes, it's not one of the best TVs. I got it for a guest room and am happy with it.
