My 522 has performed diagnoses 4 times that I have witnessed since I have had it. Probably more instances which I have not witnessed. Never lost anything, and average time has been 15-20 minutes. Of course, I always keep my 522 lean and mean by actually deleting programs I no longer have...

Yes, once recorded on TV1 or TV2, you can watch both from either TV. And yes, as long as the unit has power, the 522 will record any program you set on the timer if you turn the receiver off from the remote, i.e. neither the yellow TV1 or blue TV2 light is on.

I don't know if I got Sirius, but I noticed I now have some 32 cd music channels. CD 1 is 950 and it goes to CD 32 at 981. I'm in the San Francisco area. Nice not to have commercials, but if this is what satellite radio sounds like in your car, its not for me. Not that impressed running it...
