1. So, Tim Tebow and John Skelton are 5-1 as starters. If winning is the only thing that matters, do these guys deserve to be full time starters in this league? it can't last much longer can it??? lol...... maybe i can win at QB for denver too :D

2. The Dream Team has turned into a nightmare. Hows come whenever teams try to stack the deck via free agency instead of through the draft/farm system, it almost never works? it usually never does. just ask shula how it went with the 93-4 fins after doing the same thing

3. Are the Bills having buyers remorse on the $59 million contract they prematurely gave to Fitzpatrick? Now that the rest of the league has game tape on the Bills, their offense can't move the ball whatsoever. As Dennis Green once said, "they are who we thought they were". FEAR THE BILLS!!!! :haha

5. So, Harbaugh has the Niners going pretty well, huh? Of every team in the NFC besides the Packers, the Niners look to be the only other truly legit teams.the niners might be the only team who can knock out the packers with that defense.

6. As Jekyll and Hyde the Jets are, so are the Ravens. i just don't see this team making it deep in the playoffs with such inconsistency. any team can have a bad loss but its becoming a habit for the ravens. that includes coming back and winning against inferior teams.should've never been down to begin with. and i'll keep saying it. flacco is not all that. i've been saying it since day one. he's a decent qb at best even if he's the best qb the ravens have ever had.

7. It's not fair if the Colts end up with Andrew Luck. They sucked for 1 year and they hit the lottery? There are teams who have sucked for much longer and could use him. please don't remind me :( and the fins have won themselves out of the luck sweepstakes. they can't even lose right.

9. Mike Smith decides to go for it on a fourth and short in overtime, deep in his own territory. Best case scenario: the Falcons convert the the 4th down and earn the opportunity to keep driving 75 more yards for a score. Worst case scenario: don't convert and enable the Saints to kick a chip shot FG for the win. i know its easy to be a monday qb but wow. very dumb move in ot.

10. Attention NFL fans. The Houston Texans are for real. They are top 5 in both running and stopping the run. The formula for success in this league. Manning or no Manning, they'd are the class of the AFC South. #1 defense in the NFL. still not convinced though
my first time

1. So, Tim Tebow and John Skelton are 5-1 as starters. If winning is the only thing that matters, do these guys deserve to be full time starters in this league? Funny how winning is the ONLY thing that matters....except when it is a QB that you don't like. Hey, I will admit his stats are ugly...BUT, to his defense, the team is winning as well. And in the end, ain't it about winning?

2. The Dream Team has turned into a nightmare. Hows come whenever teams try to stack the deck via free agency instead of through the draft/farm system, it almost never works? THAT "dream team" maybe....

3. Are the Bills having buyers remorse on the $59 million contract they prematurely gave to Fitzpatrick? Now that the rest of the league has game tape on the Bills, their offense can't move the ball whatsoever. As Dennis Green once said, "they are who we thought they were". You are so right, but it goes to show you that eventhough the NFL is not a long marathon like the MLB, I would consider it a very long sprint

7. It's not fair if the Colts end up with Andrew Luck. They sucked for 1 year and they hit the lottery? There are teams who have sucked for much longer and could use him. Yeah...well...I agree...but it is what it is.. Hell, there is EVEN rumors down here of the Jets may trade for Manning since they are close to winning now...

Yeah, that sort of took me by surprise...midfield...ok...but at his 30.

10. Attention NFL fans. The Houston Texans are for real. They are top 5 in both running and stopping the run. The formula for success in this league. Manning or no Manning, they'd are the class of the AFC South. And JUST the AFC South. They are a very good team...but to me, with Indy mailing it in like they did...it has made Houston look better...

there ya go!

Hey Sabres, since you're a Broncos fan now(until Thanksgiving I guess), I thought you'd enjoy this, since you have been trash talking about how bad the Denver defense is. After reading this, I'm sure you'll be much happier. :)

Let's forget Tebow for a second. Everyone's overlooking our defense.

Let's start with the big numbers. Our defense gave up 10 points total for the game.

Our D gave up 258 yards total yesterday. The average gain per passing play was 3.3 yards per play. To put that into perspective, the Houston Texans defense is leading the league in the least yards given up per game with 269.7 yards per game.

We held them to 2 for 11 on 3rd downs and 0 for 2 on 4th downs.

We've got some defensive guys who are really rounding into form. DJ Williams is playing like a man possessed right now. I don't think he liked having to share time with Wesley Woodyard. Joe Mays is flying up and cracking people. Marcus Thomas is a guy we might want to lock up if he keeps playing like this. Champ is Champ. Oh, ho-hum, he just held Dwayne to 2 catches for 17 yards. Chris Harris. Where in the world did you come from? And finally, I feel sorry for Doom. We could have the late great Derrick Thomas on the other side of Von Miller, and Von Miller would still beat Derrick to the QB.

And lets see, 3 sacks, a forced fumble.....hurried Cassel numerous times, knocked him down tons, as well as knocking him out of the game, and sounds like the season.....

I'm not afraid to admit when I'm wrong.I was wrong.Broncos/Bills on Christmas Eve is looking like a meaningful game!

I have no problem watching an opposing player go out for the game because of injury, I just do not wish it to be anything major.. Maybe just a pulled muscle or something.. Hopefully The Jets get a few pulled muscles before thursday...

Its really sad for Cassel, but I think the Chiefs backup looked really good in the one drive we seen him in. I hope he sucks though.

Just read on Twitter that Matt Schaub has a "significant" foot injury and will miss several weeks.

They just announced that on ESPN News. Matt Leinart will start in his place. Michael Vick has two broken ribs(Will Vince Young start in his place?),& Matt Cassel possibly out for rest of season with injury to his throwing hand.

Knowshawn Mareno also out for the season with a torn ACL.

Knowshon Moreno of Denver Broncos out for year with torn ACL - ESPNNot a huge loss for Denver although he was finally making progress and was having a great game against KC. The back up Lance Ball was really impressive taking over for both Knowshown and Willis..

Good news is Willis is expected to return against the Jets, and I really do think the Denver running game will be enough to wear down the jets defense. The running game has a great advantage as shown against KC as it allows a team if they can run well eat a lot of time off the clock, keep the other teams defense on the field, and keep their own defense fresh each drive. As long as Denver can avoid a lot of 3 and outs I think they simply wear down the jets and take the game.

Tebow will have at least 4 completions this game, including a TD pass. (he has at least 1 TD pass in every game he has started, and If im not mistaken it extends to games he came in as backup as well)

They have on ESPN that Matt Schaub is out for the season. If Matt Leinart messes up this opportunity,he needs to be out of football period. Michael Vick,Tim Tebow,& Matt Leinart, which of these three left handed QB's is the most controversial?

I am going to go out on a limb here & say that Matt Leinart will make the best of this situation & successfully lead the Texans to the playoffs. he should know that this is his last shot in the NFL & if he fails, his next stop is the Arena Football league or worse(I doubt the Canadian Football League will touch him).

Also,if Vince Young starts in place of injured Vick,he needs to prove that he is still relevant. I think he certainly is more durable than Vick,he just has to prove that he is not immature like when he was in Tennessee.

I'm a 49er fan, so I've probably got rose color glasses on when thinking back on their season so far. I was wondering if I could get you guys to chime in with some (relatively unbiased) opinions on their play.

Personally, I'm impressed with the turn around with basically the same personnel as last year. The attitude and effort is just different on every level. They have a swagger now that wasn't there even at the beginning of the season.

I thought the Giants game was pivotal in proving that they can compete against playoff caliber teams.

Given their remaining schedule, I don't think it's a stretch for them to go 13-3 or even 14-2. I think the Baltimore game will be telling. Sunday to Thursday turn around and crossing three time zones.

Depending on playoff match ups, and especially if they secure the number two seed, I can see them playing the Packers in the NFC championship game.

That being said, I don't think that anyone can currently stop the Packers and I expect them to win the Super Bowl.

Thoughts? Reactions?

If your 49ers play the Packers in the playoffs, that would probably be the only chance that the Packers would lose. At this point, I don't think the Lions will even come close to beating the Packers on Thanksgiving given the way they played in Chicago. But the Thanksgiving game is at home in Detroit though, so I guess there's still a small possibility of the lions winning that game.

Schaub's foot injury, plus AFC Playoff threats looking shaky recently, has me thinking it will be a huge surprise if the Steelers/Patriots don't win the Super Bowl.

I don't know, maybe either one not making the Super Bowl would be a surprise, but the Packers & 49ers would have something to say about them winning the Super Bowl if either team makes it.
