Again the defense does not matter. Rather its NFL or college the fact he is over throwing people and throwing it in the dirt now, vs NOT doing that in college. The Defense is not making him throw bad.

What is making him throw badly is the UNLEARNING of horrible mechanics. Which NO ONE bother to teach him because the Gators were winning..."if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality that is created with the pressure of winning. Do you think Urban Meyer was gonna mess with the mechanics of possibly the greatest college QB ever while they were competing for National Championship every year? HELL NO!

And oh yeah..."Again the defense does not matter" is an interesting comment coming from you because that seems to be you main argument when you are hootin' and hollerin' how much better the SEC conference is compared to everyone else...

i've noticed guys like marino and elway not being too nice about tebow. yes he will never be like those guys but he doesn't have to. if he can significantly improve his passing game he'll be fine. i don't see any signs that he will though.

My heart was racing so fast..and I was so nervous...I've seen too many of these in 3 past few years that DIDN'T go our way......

This is the first 3 game win streak since the 6-0 start in '09. And it all went to hell from there.......

This glimmer of hope from Tebow...I wanna believe...but I need to see more....

No offense intended Rey, I was just cherry-picking parts of the quotes...My bad. I'm not a big Young fan either. My BIL works at ESPN and says Young is arrogant and a prima donna.

Ya never know what the weather brings, HD.

Baltimore is a crap shoot...never know what you're going to get week to week, and Cincinnati has a lot more to prove as well.

The Jets? Nah. The AFC West? Another crapshoot. Tennessee? Please.

The Bills have at least as good a chance as anyone.

Now, let's be clear about one thing. I am NOT knocking Tebow. I like the kid. It's a great story. And he has a ton of heart. I wish him all the best. I really do. But.......

Let's look at Colt McCoy at the same stage in his career compared to Tebow...

In Colt's first 4 games last year, he led the Browns to a road victory against the Super Bowl Champs (Saints), a win over the New England Patriots, a close loss to the NJ Jets in overtime and a respectable performance against the Steelers on the road. In 2010, that was just about as tough of a 4 game stretch for anyone, let a lone someone making their NFL debut. But Colt McCoy looked like a world beater. The same "winner" he's been his entire life. A year later? Not so much. The rest of the NFL got film on him and he's been rendered much less effective.

All I'm saying is that we shouldn't jump to conclusions after a few games. Give it time. Tebow will let us all know whether or not he has IT.
