This issue began / originated on April 4, 2025. I received an email offer for the 2025 MLB EI package as a loyalty gift on that date. I had to click on a link in that email to accept and redeem that offer. Once I clicked that link and confirmed the loyalty gift offer, I received two more emails from DIRECTV, confirming that offer on that same day. Fast forward to the current billing cycle. Between April 4 to the current date, the loyalty gift offer somehow managed to "fall through the cracks" and I have been billed the full $150 charge (plus applicable fees and taxes) for the MLB EI package. After two lengthy phone calls to retention yesterday and billing today, the loyalty gift offer was confirmed via both of those departments. Per their words, the billing issue has been "escalated" and "should be resolved" in the next 1-2 billing cycles. This is another first for me, regarding their billing process. I have had billing issues occasionally over the course of my time with DIRECTV. But, I have never had any issues dealing with a loyalty gift offer, until now. Has anyone else experienced an issue of this nature?
