that's why i got both hoppers today. We could have made due with one hopper with some careful management or not worry about managing anything and cough up the $100 for a second hopper.
IMO, anyone who values TV so much as to need a six tuner single hopper is not going to worry about the minimal cost for a second 3 tuner hopper.
If lack of tuners is an issue then get a second Hopper. The only challenge at the moment with that is getting Dish to activate 2 Hoppers with only 1 Joey.
Which is a pretty big deal. A sub should be able to have two Hoppers and no Joeys as far as that goes. Plus that extra $100 or $200 for the extra Hopper.
I agree. I think the customer should be able to get that setup also. Dish is worried that customers are going to be signing up for 2 Hoppers thinking they are getting a whole-home DVR solution when currently it won't be. I understand Dish's reasoning but why can't they let the customer have it once it's been explained to them? Strange.
