Some old corn field, United States
The office qualified a customer today who wanted 1 722 and 1 standard 322 installed. while running the paper work dishes retailers site would not let a 722 and 322 be selected. it says it has to be a 722 and a single HD receiver The customer does not want the 2nd single tuner be HD . How can I get around this? Also it says to use a 1000.4 but not sure if I can get a LOS and am bringing a 1000.2. the customer will lose 1 HD local using the 1000.2, will dish let me put the 1000.2 up as long as the customer is ok with it?

Non-vip recievers (like the 322) can not see the channels on 72 & 77.
As for Dish being okay with a 1000.2 install, it's there rules that make a mixed SD&HD install have western arc.

Why does the customer not want a 222 receiver? The pricing should be the same as a 322...and an installer could wire it up SD via coax.
The 222 has a higher monthly lease fee than the 322.

So here are the choices.

Western Arc install, they lose out on the HD local and get the equipment they want. You can add a 61.5 dish if they want to pay extra for it.

Eastern Arc install, with a ViP222, at $2 additional per month.

Hope some HD/CHS next month..

Is Dish going to add more National HD?
