447 out and ota audio seems fixed...

I haven't had time for an exhaustive check, but the audio seems fine on all my otas. I haven't looked at any other "features", but I assume it's just the audio that was fixed via this update. Let's hope nothing else was broken in the process.

Originally, before the audio problem was widely seen as a problem, there was talk of a fix for washed out HDMI picture to be included in L4.47. Any one who had that problem able to report a result?

Got it last night on one of my 622's. Audio is back on my CW station. I, also, will test later to see if everything else is working.

My 722 got L447 last night. It has this awesome feature on my OTA channels..................SOUND!!!! Ain't Dish technology great!???:up Dunno if it screwed anything else up yet, LOL.

My antenna is attached directly to the TV since I dont record off it and the 622 is still buggy with dropouts and that annoying yellow screen. Late last week sound from the DVR didnt work for live tv nor recordings. Did all the usual stuff to try and fix it. So it was time to get out the old RCA cables. A few days later HDMI audio seemed to be working again and all is well.

But I am still keeping the cables on just in case.

anyone notice with 447, and this could just be a weird situation that happened once with me...but we were recording charlie brown off of abc (satellite) and we could flip below abc (channel 3 nbc which we have satellite, OTA, and a subchannel) and flip to the OTA channel of ABC 005-01, but nothing above it...it would say it will switch to live tv and stop the recording...just weird we could flip between the channels below the one that was recording but anything above it it would not allow us to flip to, either OTA or satellite.

I havent tried this to see if it would do it again, as I only had one show to record tonight, just wondering if anyone else has seen the same thing.

I did notice my 622 today has audio sync issues on espn2 and it seems on the NFL HD channel above it
I checked other HD channels and it looked perfect but for some reason ESPN2 and maybe ESPN has a slight sync issue. I just did a hard reboot for the heck of it but as I said it's just these few channels I even see it ( and hear it )
The gamehd and HBO and starz and a few random ones are fine

I will just blame it on espn and leave it alone and let it fix itself, lol
