9200 hd with 8psk or without 8psk

I am ready to buy a 9200hd. already have a HD TV. Queston: What happens if I buy a 9200 hd without the 8psk mod. Do I need the 8psk mod to recieve HD channels.

dont need the 8PSK mod. I have a 9200 and love it. Gets a bunch of HD feeds and PBS HD

what other satellite equipment do you have (dish size, LNB type, etc)? Want to make sure the rest of the equipment will work fine with the 9200
