Considering that all Broadcast and Cable Channels are losing 6 Million per sub fees a year, because of those leaving Cable/Satellite Providers, along with advertising revenues way down, not a big surprise.Looks like Disney is working on ABC. More to come?
Why are you bringing up politics, by posting biased news?People are shying away from biased news. Especially the advertisers. I'm just surprised it took so long.
It's all biased one way or another and always has been, go read your history. You can start with where the words "yellow journalism" came from or just read up on William Randolph Hearst for instance. Being biased has nothing to do with it, it's all about revenue and the TV world it is a changing.People are shying away from biased news. Especially the advertisers. I'm just surprised it took so long.
ABC still makes money, for example, still gets about 65 Million per sub fees, along with Advertising Revenue.Disney needs to give up ABC and focus its efforts on the Disney brand and everything with their namesake. What benefit is it these days to continue holding on to ABC?
What will be the first to go, are certain Cable Channels, Freeform, FXX, Disney Jr, Toon Disney, but since they are not producing new content for those channels, basically are rerun channels, still make money because of per sub fees, so about 2-3 years before they are shut down.
why are you trying so hard to make this political? Reading the article would actually tell you that this is more than just ABC, but a bunch of Disney cable networks. All the channel bloat from the 2000s needs immediate excision.People are shying away from biased news. Especially the advertisers. I'm just surprised it took so long.
