Additional HD Channels by November 15, 2008?

My 18 month contract with Dish ends 10/15/2008.

What HD channels do you think Dish will have added by that date?

What about Sci-Fi and USA? Is November 15, 2008 soon?

By Nov 2008 they plan to add quite a few HD channels. Almost certainly the 7 currently "uplinked" which include the two you asked about. They are talking 100 "national" channels this year and many HD Local markets.

Well, remember that if Dish is going for 100 national channels by the end of the year, and they keep their current tally of part-time RSN's not even available to most people outside of their market and PPV channels, they're only like 20-25 away, aren't they? LOL

It depends upon if the satellites launch successfully.

Either way, I think you'll find the month of May very interesting.

Scifi and USA are uplinked? Haven't seen mention of that.
