Yeah, all of these reviews seem to have a different perspective which I often to not get, but I guess that is true of a lot of people here. I suppose that is why there are so many different options to meet the desires of various people.
DirecTV Now itself has inconsistent video quality, a suboptimal interface and a haphazard selection of on-demand content. DVR options are still in their infancy, and platform availability is all over the place.
AT&T seems glacially slow to address these issues and trails the state-of-the-art significantly in almost every category (other than bulk channel availability).
The most debilitating issue is probably the platform availability.
I personally can't abide the stereo (or worse) audio treatment that they seem to be showing signs of working on.
