Just recently I realized that my installer of my new dish left a bunch of stuff at my house, including the first KaKu Au9 LNB he tried to install. I may have the name wrong, but it's the newest model that removes the need for BBC converters and allows for dual tuning with a single line (and also doesn't work with a number of older receivers) "Apparently" it was not working, so he put on a different one and then I was able to get reception. Still, I can't tell for sure whether or not this thing actually works (I didn't exactly have a genius installing my equipment so it may have been installer versus equipment error), nor am I going to test it out myself. It was left outside for quite a while, but I figure this equipment is made to stand up to crappy conditions if you're supposed to install it outdoors. Is there anything I can do with this thing? I'm not trying to turn this into a classified ad, but is there any online market (if at all, hopefully amongst members here) for a potentially broken LNB? I don't want to just throw it away or have to look into ways to properly dispose of it, but I will if it comes to it. I just hate throwing away equipment like this.

If it is the same as your current dish you may be well served to just pitch the steel dish and keep the LNB for a spare in case of power surge/lightning ect...
