I have 16 remotes (combination of 40.0 & 54.0) paired to all my Hoppers and Joeys. They seem to last at least 6 months. I get the big supply batteries that Sam's sells.

I'm jealous. My Firestick remote devours batteries. My Dish remotes do well, but that one is terrible

Just bought one. Now I won't have steel the one from spare bedroom to do the occasional month of HBO bingeing.

Just take pics of your timers list - I know, it's not convenient - but do that and when t he new Hopper is up and running, as long as it's connected to the internet, you can use the voice control to search for the programs you want to record and you'll see when you select the result of your voice search, how to set a new timer. It's very simple. When you select record all, hit select again right away to edit whether you want new only or new and repeats, etc, default start and end recording times, and so forth

I've done the voice search. Seems a lot of the shows are off the air but will return when their new season starts. Some give the option to record when available, others don't. Any other way to set timers for those shows? Is there anything like the old Dish Pass that was on the 722k?

By the way, really liking the Hopper3. Just taking a little time to get used to it, especially the 54.0 remote. Love all the timers.
