Voom on Dish

I am un impressed with Dishnetwork's HD programming. I have the 942 receiver and think as soon as my discount time is over I will disconect HD. The content is minimal. I'm paying about $15 per mo for what?

Well, www.voom.com says 'More voom channels coming soon'

Does soon mean 6+ months? I don't think so. Well, I hope not. 'Soon' kind of implies sooner than 6 months for me.

But as others have said, if they don't start adding content and beef these up, there isn't much to watch!

I do miss Family Room though. Today would be Thunderbirds Saturday!

So we can be bombarded by HD reruns of My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance, Nanny 911, and the other CRAP that Fox Airs.

Fox has the lamest shows of ALL of the networks as well as the MINI-nets UPN and WB.

Sounds to me like I made a good decision going with Comcast till all this stuff gets sorted out..MPEG4, etc...

Funny, I get a call from Direct TV telemarketers almost EVERY day now;
As soon as they say who they are, I tell them that unless they are giving 3 hd recievers for free, with free install, and free hd programs every month, to not bother me.
Gets em to hang up every time!
