Before I go and order a replacement hopper!

It was the damn OTA dongle.................... after everything we unpluged it system worked fine. I am really annoyed it was a waste of my time, his time. Everyone's time. We replaced a switch and a node and it turns out it was a damn dongle. Now I know never to screw with perfection again.

I knew it had to be something software-related... I have the OTA dongle, no such issues so far. Tried plugging it back in, just in case? I guess if it persists, a software update will fix it.

Oh and did you skool the tech on how 3 Hoppers can communicate? I would've enjoyed doing that :D .
 
He found my whole system mind boggling of course LOL. They always do. They are actually a little scared of it and don't like to touch it. The two techs that have come out to repair it after it was originally installed are always very careful to take one wire off at a time. He was really nice I guess they have my account flagged with a three hopper notation. They seem scared when they walk in my house now. When he looked at my switches and nodes he just goes no way who installed that, I go you guys did...... Now fix it. And I showed him how to make the three hoppers see each other even though mine are set up not to. I still can't believe it was the stupid OTA adapter though urg.
 
It was free in the first place. Is no one else having this problem if not then I will call and have them replace it. When all three sat tuners are being used with hopper with the ota adaptor installed on it and one thing is being recorded on your other hopper try watching something from your hopper with the one thing recording on it from the hopper that has three things three things recording on it. Would someone else please test this so I can see if it is just me or if is just a defective ota tuner. You have to do it hopper to hopper the joeys work fine.
