buying a reciever for Tailer is card capatable with other Dish Network model's from our house

Hi, We have a VIP722K DVR in living rm. which controls our guest room also. Then we have a VIP222K which controls the office also. We have a trailer which has a High definition tv and we bought a carryout satellite with finder for it. Now we are trying to figure out what to do with a receiver. We taught instead of taking the whole receiver from our house with us when we take off for vacation, why don't we buy another one and just take the smart card out of one of house receivers and put it in the one we buy for the trailer. Our question is, is the vip222k smart card compatible with a either 301 or a 322 ,and if so is there any programing involved. Or do we need to get a vip222k for trailer as well. Obvious you see we are not really knowledgeable in this, just know enough to be dangerous. If you have other suggestions or alternative... Please help us.... Thank you

Smart cards are "married" to their respective receivers. No way to transfer a smart card from one receiver to another.

301s can no longer be activated and 322 is a standard-definition receiver. I suggest purchasing a 211k.

Unless you purchase a receiver from some third party,it should come with the smart card.Sometimes the smart card is inside the receiver.
