Can't record

Can't record fast channels just had dish installed about a week ago a hopper 3 and a joey 4 with a hopper plus all with the latest software H395 when I try to record it shows up like it is recorded but when i try to play back off the dvr it's just a black screen I have tried a hard rest on everything with no luck

You cannot currently record streaming channels but that is coming soon

I find it funny that some want to record these fast channel when most of the show are already on shcduled TV or on sreaming servicec. IE, I have the whole 5 season of Rifleman cued up on Amazon Prime...with no commercials

Actually you can on Hoppers but not Hopper+…

Me personally….i like to record the programs so I can fast forward thru the commercials (or the open spots) on a few of the channels (that Directv carries).
The only stream service I pay for is Frndly since my market doesn't have the good subs like MeTV, MeTV Toons, catchy comedy and others.
(My Directv is 'free' as the landlord pays for all of us to have it included in rent)
