Channel Master Question?

OK, I finally started to play with Channel Master. Is there any other software I need to read the channels from my Fortec Lifetime Classic NA, or is everything I need to UL and DL including in the Channel Master? Thanks!

you cannot upload the list from the Classic directly using CM.

you have to upload it with the Fortec loader first and save it. Then open in CM

OK, I downloaded the software from Fortec Star. Now I see that it is a channel editor/loader. Is their channel editor any good? All I want to do is be able to edit the names and channels and save them to my computer. I don't need anything fancy. Also, I see there is a more recent firmware (2006). Any benifit to having this? Thanks!

Well, I unzipped the Fortec software. Now in Channel Master, what type of file do I save my file as? I don't see a .cdf (I think that is what the Fortec software is looking for). Thanks!

when you save it, go down to "export" (under file). It should allow you to change it to a Fortec file
