Cm3671 & Cm7777

Just wondering when using this combo together, is a combiner needed? Or, does the CM7777 eliminate the need for a combiner?

connect antenna to combined input of the cm7777, internal switch is set to common, and fm trap set to out if you desire to receive fm on your receiver.
