Which is Versant (stupid name).

Since this is the last year for new scripted shows on SyFy, USA has already eliminated them ( will share shows from SyFy), how long can these stations last as pure rerun channels.

By separating them from NBC, when negotiations are due, it will be easier for providers to lowball per sub fees or just get rid of them.

Why is it stupid? People thought "Verizon" was stupid when GTE merged with NY Bell (Nynex). Now "Verizon" is synonoymous with quality phone service.

Absolutely disagree! Verizon was NOTHING but trouble for us! We had wired phone service and DSL with them for about 15 years at our present location. When we first moved in they had failed to connect the line and we were without service for days until that was resolved. We repeatedly had issues with the worn out copper lines causing noise in phone calls during rain and DSL loss. The topper was when we had an ice storm and it knocked the lines down completely. They propped up a PATCHED line over a road sign and through tree limbs with a promise of finally replacing it. That never happened despite numerous calls with more promises of a fix over a period of YEARS!

We were SO glad when the local cable company began offering service to our location a couple years ago. We have had no issues at all with them and would NEVER EVER under any circumstances consider any kind of service with Verizon again!
