They just went on the on July the first however on KOB-DT rf ch. 26.3 has a aspect ratio problem the picture looks cropped not tru 4:3 or true 16:9 format in 480i system.

I thought Hubbard was the best OTA engneering KOB-DT since 1947 in Albuquerque.

Same problem here on some of the KRDK channels.

The great annoying mystery of "squish-o-vision."

Broadcasters' inexplicable 16:9 active format anamorphically squeezed into a 4:3 scan.

If its any consolation though, when Comet TV first launched here in the LA market last year on KDOC 56-4, it was in squish-o-vision too. And when I complained to the station their engineering had no clue at the time. However it was fixed somehow a month or so later. So perhaps it may be only temporary for the OP as well.

I must be the only one watching KRDK, or the only to realize it, but it's been squish-o-vision since their official launch last fall.
