Connection Issue

Can you have a connection issue on one receiver and the other receiver be fine? My moms 222k came up with the complete signal loss. She tried a reboot and also unplugged it also. So after that didn't work I got the call. I said maybe you need a refresh. So she called Dish and they said it's a connection issue and they have to send out a tech. Is that possible when the 322 works fine?

Yes could be receiver, cable, or connections which are different than the 322 they only share the dish but each receiver has it's own cables and connections.

Yes, the connection into the receiver or the wall in that room alone can cause this issue. We usually check those as party of the troubleshooting but yes it can be a problem with the line or equipment that can cause one receiver to go out and other to be working.

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't sure but now you guys gave me the info. If I have time I'm going to take a look tomorrow.
