I am installing a Dish 500 with Legacy twin lnbf.
After a lot of fiddling around I finally managed to get a strong signal on 119. When I select 110 on the menu I still see a very strong signal and a message that says that I am pointing to the wrong satellite (119).
I don't get it. How can the 110 lnbf receive the signal from 119 satellite when 119 is also receiving signal from 119?
Just to be sure I power cycled the receiver and ran a switch test, I also connected the receiver to the secong connector on the twin but I always get the same results.
So far my inclination is to think I have a faulty switch inside the twin lnbf. That would make sense because the receiver would try to tell the switch to select the 110 lnbf but it would not switch and therefore I would always see the signal from 119.
Thanks,
