I have no idea whether there's a causal relationship, but since I got 616 I've been noticing occasional audio dropouts on NATIONAL channels, both HD and SD, both live and recorded. (I don't even HAVE HD locals, so I can't address that issue.)

I do as well and it includes locals both satellite and OTA.
