Dish Anywhere not only needs a good WiFi signal, it also needs a steady connection with no drops or interrupts. Sometimes, you can tweek your router settings to help the situation. For example, connect using both the 5Ghz and the 2.4Ghz bands and see which works better, try different channels on both bands, enable WMM (WiFi multimedia) on both the 5Ghz and the 2.4Ghz bands, if QoS is enabled try disabling it, if QoS is not enabled try enabling it and give Dish Anywhere priority. In addition, make sure that your router has the latest firmware installed.
Many times it is the router that is dropping the connection.
