Not seeing anything on TP12 (at least what Lyngsat calls TP12), but I'm seeing a hidden FTA channel on TP14. 12414H/20000 . Being hidden, it requires manual entry. VPID=7714 APID=7715 .
However, it comes up with a video screen that says "Dish Network Season Ticket", and it is not holiday music, at least now, it's kind of jazz with a Brazilian flavor right now. Pretty nice music though. Maybe as the holiday season gets closer it might change? Anyway, not sure if this is what you're talking about or not, but it seems like a nice music channel.

EDIT: Same hidden, same PIDs on 12040,12060,12160

dammit....just scanned TP12 and it logs a bunch of channels,..one is
TV982....which is the Holiday music channel

SCRAMBLED!

I guess Charlie doesnt want us to listen to Holiday music but Hawaiian music is ok?? (that is the only radio channel FTA)

Channel arrives.
It gets publicized.
Channel disappears.

I've heard this story somewhere before. -

not in this case...Dish usually kept it open for all receivers and it happened to be FTA like NASA...maybe I'll have to try on the 811 to see if its still there

That's what pissed off congress -
That's what the big-three auto makers did.

Time to sell off the corporate toys and invest that money back in the company vs taking the taxpayer down with more taxes for there handouts.

I plugged in an old 311, I had that is no longer subbed. It showed the Holiday channel and all the shopping channels as ITC but got nothing but guide banner on them. NASA and the promo channels were coming in fine, so I guess even previously subbed boxes are out.

How long did you let it sit for?

Just as digiblur asked - How long did you leave it? The smartcard (even though it isn't subscribed) may have some automatic updating to do from the satellite before it'll turn on the Christmas channel. You might want to leave it hooked up to the dish overnight and see in the morning if any of those channels are working.

I actually plugged it into the dish last night and this morning it was still blank. Just got home been plugged in all day to a dish 500 and still have no audio on anything except NASA and the dish promo channels.

with Dish doing the card upgrade they may have already "upgraded" the card per say in that box

Try G19 TP23 22425 A-PID:1026 SID:1041

Classic Holiday Music till Dec 26th. then it's back to the Rock format.

Enjoy!
