Or maybe they'll be bigger than ever, if they get that spectrum put to good use.

There are plenty of examples of companies that slowly fade away but stay in business only to come back strong with a new look or product. Little Caesars and Domino's Pizza both did it within recent years.
Yes.
The buggy builder shifted to building horseless carriages.
I don't watch that channel very often, but from what little I have seen of it on Directv, it reminds me of Newsmax, which Dish used to carry. Are these channels (Newsmax and One America News) related to each other in any way?I'm approaching 40 and mainly watch the news on Dish, but my friends are leaving Dish for other providers. Dish doesn't offer One America News, a direct competitor to Fox News. I watch One America News online with a Roku box, but it seems that news is a demo that would help Dish with sub loss. DirecTV carries One America across every package. Old guys don't cut the cord as much as the younger demo. And, yes, I love my Hopper.

That was an old Time Warner Cable ad. (The tagline "Now anything's possible." with a silhouette of a flying pig.) Interestingly enough, Time Warner Cable is now called Spectrum.I see pigs flying before then![]()

Yes he has moved to number 3 out of the 4 cell phone companies. Got a way to go to be number 1 , but I think he might just get there with persistence.

Ok , I'll bite: who is Mr Wonderful? No. As Mr. Wonderful says, when it suits them, they will crush T-Mobile like the cockroach they are!

That is a big problem for both TMO and Sprint, relative poor coverage of much of the country compared to ATT and VZW. Here Sprint is nearly a non-starter because of a severe lack of real coverage, TMO is a bit better as they cover most of the larger towns at least up and down the major roadways. But get away from the major roads and their coverage is very poor. Not until they build out their infrastructure in rurual areas. Otherwise, they will never defeat VZW or ATT

A saving grace for TMO is that wifi calling is supported so you usually can make and receive calls at home even if it isn't covered well otherwise.
This latest deal is a good deal, just not a great one IMO. To me it certainly isn't good enough to want to give up coverage for.
I think Verizon should come out with an ad with a map showing the areas that they cover that are not covered by the other carriers, with the caption "We are the 1%"I agree. These TV ads Sprint runs claiming that the Big 4 carriers are all within 1% of each other are completely bogus. Try living 45 minutes or an hour outside any major city in this country and see if TMO coverage is the same as VZW or ATT! They just do not have as many cells on as many towers in as many places, period.
