Mark Jacksom mentioned the Q-BOX QAM to ATSC converter as a possible solution on recording cable network broadcast's on the VIP 622.

Huh? That says it converts to QPSK, not ATSC.

If you want a 3rd party cable DVR Tivo series 3 is the only thing on the market right now
