No way I know of, unless it might work for any channels Dish shows that are unencrypted, and there wouldn't be too many of those, NASA tv still is and maybe the promo channels. You can't change the channels maps in it since it's proprietary so it wouldn't work as a real fta receiver.
simple answer-no
longer answer-Dish only uses specific frequency setups. As an example, on the DBS slots (61.5, 110,119,129,148) there are 32 preset transponders. Examples are
12224 V 20000
12239 H 20000
12253 V 20000
basically add 14 or 15 to the previous number and swap polarity up to 12676 H 20000
The 105 & 121 sats use different frequencies (since they are KU) but again preset frequencies (105 sat uses symbol rate of 26000 whereas 121 uses 20000)
Believe it or not the only reason I use the DishNet system is just for the games I can play! My sister in law does that and I got hooked! Of course not all games are free, but sometimes I would luck up on one, or two!
I never thought about the Nasa channel so one of these days I will find it.
