Los Cabos Mexico
Hello, we are located in Los Cabos Mexico, and we have lost all of the Conus signals on satellite 119 for Dish since Friday, September 5, 2025. We cannot locate with our BirDog finder and appear to be no service on this satellite at least for Conos. In setups using both 119 and 110, we can still get some channels.

Does anyone know what may be happining and if there are any solutions or alternatives available?

you might want to call Dish to have a technician come out to realign the dish or replace the LNB or both.

Service in your area from 119W is gone permanently.

What you saw when you lost service was the transfer of service to the EchoStar 15 satellite which arrived at 119W around August and went into service during the first week of September.

EchoStar 15 has a smaller coverage area outside of the US.

Great thank you for the information. Look forward to hearing from you.
Using Hoppers and Joeys, can the sat signals be replaced with Ethernet? Seems a reasonable way for Dish to start being able to provide content wityh more reliability long term. The reason most people dont want to change from SAT to IP TV is the user friendlyness that Dish and DirectTV customers. They are used to it, nothing like an interactive guide, DVR Primetime is great, and easy to view and use.

An you can kiss 110W goodbye probably sometime next summer.
EchoStar 25 is a 100 percent spot beam satellite with anticipated launch 1st quarter 2026.
EchoStar 25 goes into service at 110W with EchoStar 15 119W providing the Conus beam.
No Conus beam at 110W
