DishAnywhere app for other platforms?

I got the email today from Sling that they have a Windows 8 app for Win8 tablets now. They've also had apps for Roku, WDLive, etc for a while too.

So, when will Dish catch up? I'm almost ready to go back to a standalone Slingbox because I've had my eye on a Win8 tablet for a while, but I really do like the built in Sling on HWS.

Anyone know if Dish plans to support anything besides Droid/iOS?

I want a windows phone and the only reason I haven't upgraded away from.my android is for dish anywhere.....hopefully CES has something to offer.

Ok so you are going to say that this is one of a few software updates for the hoppers or is this with some hidden news that we may get a new hopper model or something else as far as hardware is concerned??

Same here, I want to get a Windows based tablet. I've tried accessing the website on a Win8 tablet and it isn't a good experience. If they had an app similar to Android/iOS, it would be fine.

Looks like nothing was mentioned for windows 8 at CES unless I missed something.
