it was reported on dbstalk this morning that DIYHD is being tested (230). an addition i welcome very much.

Yepp, they have done a great job on HD lately IMO, after taking a vacation

Between having AMC/BBCAHD and a 5 tuner HDDVR, im pretty darn happy. My wife watches DYI, so she will be happy.

I think they have to launch more HD since they are not giving away free HD (besides 24 months, when you first sign up) They have to make it worth the $10.00 they charge.

When cable and Dish already have most of these additions then the excitement is tempered a bit. The PAC 12 thing is bothersome. I am very happy to have BBC HD and my girls love Disney Jr, but I can see why some aren't ecstatic.

People tend to forget Directv has things they dont.

I understand we all have our wants. IMO, DIY sucks and I could care less, but I know folks out there want it. Directv has the poll data, whatever we may think is an important channel, they have to make decisions based on their overall customer needs, as well as money. A Dish Network install is a phone call away for anyone that needs it!

I only need DIY and ID. Those are two channels I love but since I left E* over a year ago I just can't get into them in SD. I really can't stand how DIY is a postal stamp. I don't mind black bars on the side but to have them on the top and bottom it annoys me.
