Is your internal source could get more info about the model ?
I've seen a report of spooling firmware with the model number.

I remember there was a Dish Network site with which software is spooling right now with saying something about which version for what what receiver and something about partial release and non forced update...I've seen it before, but can't find anymore. Does somebody know what i am talking about?
Not the page with the list of all the receivers with the current software, I mean the other.

Scott, seems they found right info, it was not the DP-972, but "2Wire Media Portal" alpha FW spooling last couple months.

Things that make you go Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Wonder if this has anything to do with the 211 ethernet port!
