Dumb ? Access Denied

This was the first time I posted in the FTA Forums. I ran across a post by Icebreg in the "FTA/MPEG2 FAQ's" and tried to post something about old discarded reflectors. I was not allowed access. I found a better place for my post but what is the reason for denied access? Not complaining just want to know.

The FTA FAQ area is only setup for mods to post threads. People can respond to them if not locked but we had issues where people would post questions there and it cluttered up the area. SO people can post but not start threads in there

The FTA Shack is for non-technical FTA questions
